Overview
The BSc (Hons) Health, Social Care and Wellbeing course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the health, social care, and wellbeing sectors. This multidisciplinary programme offers a comprehensive evidence-based approach to understanding health and social care across various organizational contexts, including public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.
Throughout the course, students will gain in-depth knowledge and critical skills related to health, social care, and wellbeing. The curriculum covers essential topics, theories, and applications relevant to individuals, families, and communities. In their final year, students will undertake a significant project or dissertation, allowing them to explore a topic of their choice through empirical research and analysis.

Entry requirements
- Possession of qualifications equivalent to MFHEA MQF Level 4, including at least one qualification in health, social care, or wellbeing.
- Recognition of prior learning may be available for applicants with relevant work experience.
English requirements
Applicants must meet specific English language requirements. Acceptable tests include:
- IELTS Academic: Overall 5.5 (minimum 5 in each component)
- TOEFL iBT: Overall 60
- PTE Level B2: Overall 52
- Duolingo: Overall 100
Applicants who have studied in a majority English-speaking country may be exempt from submitting test scores.
